Dominic Ashley-Timms, Managing Director

Dominic is the Managing Director of Notion established in 1999 to help business clients move their businesses forward.  He is MBA qualified and has over 20 years of Business experience working on complex projects with companies across a number of sectors including Manufacturing, Retail, Oil and the Financial Services.

He is a highly sought after national and international Trainer developing and delivering global training programmes for Senior Managers and Executives.  In the last 12 years he has delivered highly engaging training to senior members of large corporations in over 30 countries.  Recent companies have included Oracle, SAP, HP, EDS, Reckitt Benckiser, DuPont, Nestle and IMD (MBA class) on subjects as diverse as Structured Communications, Consulting Skills, Presenting Skills, Managing Organisational Change and Leadership. He is also an accredited coach trainer with the ILM.  As a Change Management consultant he has delivered Continuous Improvement and Change Programmes for blue chips organisations including Sainsbury’s, The Royal Bank of Scotland and the Croatian Government!

Passionate about the human side of change, Dominic’s interests in behaviour and communication have allowed him to not only personally help businesses such as Sainsbury’s and The Royal Bank of Scotland respond to change over the years, but also to experience firsthand, the astonishing changes that business owners and Directors can bring about in their own levels of performance through working with a good business coach.

Outside of the demands for Dominic’s consulting and training experience, he works extensively with business coaching clients to design targeted workshops. These are intended to spread the benefits that clients are already realising from their business coaching to their management teams or organisations and can typically range from “Working Together Effectively” through to “Developing Our Business Strategy” and anything in between – the starting point is determining how to encourage the desired behaviour/activity.

Dominic holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Ergonomics and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland. He is married with three young children, is an Apple convert/aficionado and is also a passionate gastronome and cook.
