First 90 Days

1st 90 days coaching, career coaching

Whether you are a recently promoted Manager / Director or about to start a new role in a new company, the first few months in a new role are critical.  You need to 'hit the ground running' and are particularly vulnerable in the first few months as you will lack an in-depth knowledge of the challenges you'll face and what it will take to succeed within the new role. Failure to create momentum in the first 90 days can create an uphill battle for the rest of your term.

Several of our Senior Executive Coaches are experts in this field, with a wealth of experience working with new Managers and Executives to ensure their first 90 days are the best they can be.

Our programmes are bespoke and all are aimed at ensuring the client obtains a 'fast start' in their new role.  This approach enables the individual to become functionally effective in the new role as quickly as possible, whilst embedding the new leadership and collaborative behavioural skills required to establish the individual’s credibility with new peers, superiors and subordinates.

Whilst all our programmes are bespoke, we have listed below some of the topics covered within each programme.  On average coaching programmes for individuals who are moving jobs are shorter in nature and typically last 3-6 months.

"As a result of working with my Notion Executive Coach I have developed a better understanding of my impact in the organisation. I now have a wider perspective about what’s affecting the organisation and what might affect the motivations of people in other areas of the business - not just inside the finance world. This has helped me to engage with my peers more effectively and build more effective relationships. It was great to bounce ideas off my Executive Coach - taking the time to consider issues from new angles has helped me to change the way I respond in different situations. I can’t fault my Notion executive coaching experience - it has helped me to get off the treadmill, reflect, and make positive changes.”

It may be progress in your existing organisation, it might require a complete change of direction and you may need to develop or improve some skills.

Some of the aspects we may cover are...
