World Class Executive Coaching

During her decade in the retail sector she had bottom line budget responsibilities ranging from £90-£180m, managing teams of up to 80 people, and delivered year on year growth (turnover and profit) in every role for 10 consecutive years. Her career to date has been truly global in nature living and working in USA (twice), as well as Asia and Europe.

Exposed to coaching throughout her life, initially as a top-level sportswoman and later in the Business arena, she is passionate about what coaching can do to accelerate performance and results. Her practical and direct approach is challenging whilst her sense of fun ensures that the overall coaching experience is very enjoyable. 

As an Executive Coach, Laura predominantly works with MD’s, Board of Directors and members of the C-Suite in companies interested in significant growth. In addition to her excellent overall Business Coaching skills she also has specialist experience within the Retail, Manufacturing, Licensing, Branding and Marketing sectors.

Laura particularly enjoys working with entrepreneurs and as such has worked with an extensive number of MD's and Business Owners of SME's delivering top class coaching with a focus on business growth (she sets her clients high standards and has testimonials evidencing annual growth between 40-100%).

Laura regularly designs and develops large scale coaching programmes including 1-to-1 Executive Coaching, Coaching Skills Training, Accredited Internal Coaching Programmes, Gravitas Programmes for Senior Leadership, CPD, Supervision and Group Mentoring programmes. Recent examples include programmes for Aon Hewitt, Royal Mail, Mitchells & Butlers, UCL, NEC Group, Cognizant, Birmingham City Council, Reading Borough Council and Enterprise4All. Laura is passionate about raising the standard of Coaching throughout the industry and delivers talks and webinars on how organisations can embed sustainable coaching cultures to leverage commercial results. She has also designed a number of audio coaching programmes (in collaboration with her colleague Martin Goodyer). The first of these is designed to help both Business Owners develop their business and their skills as a leader, Business Success Strategies, the second programme, CPD for Coaches, is designed for Coaches, who work part time internally within their organisations or professional full time coaches to undertake continual professional development, and challenge themselves to further improve their skills. Laura is a Licensed Business Practitioner of NLP, an accredited Coach with the Coaching Academy, MBTI trained, has an MA from Oxford, is a Columnist for Total Licensing, a Business Owner, Wife & Mother of 3, part time property developer and a real ‘Cockney’ by birth!

Laura has been featured in a number of magazine articles, the most recent of which was when she was asked to coach a NatWest client and his team for the day in 'Business Sense', the magazine for NatWest and RBS business customers. Case Studies

Laura worked with the MD of a manufacturing company supplying some of the world’s leading retailers. The company’s products were world class but their poor internal processes meant that they were constantly letting down their client’s with late delivery. Laura worked with the MD to develop better relationships with the Far East production units and redesign the internal processes to better manage the critical paths. The result was better production control more proactive client management and securing longer-term contracts.

Laura works with a high profile MD (within the hospitality sector) of one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses. The programme includes developing the senior leadership team, better management of key investors, board and stakeholders, working on the overall strategy and vision of the business and preparing the company for the next phase of investment alongside the broader long term personal goals of the MD. The company has been through one successful investment round and is now focused on the next 5-year significant growth plan.
