I’ve been there, trying to get initiatives that you know would be good for the organisation through and out into practice. It can be really hard work influencing all of those different people.
My thought for today is, what would it be like to do a relationship review of where you are with those parts of the business or those individuals that you know you need to influence, and you are a bit stuck with.
The rule I always apply when I'm stuck is to ask a great open question, really try to get into that person’s world so that then you can match the way in which you are selling your initiative to what it is they see is a real benefit to them.
So, go away today, look at those relationships and ask some of those questions.
